April 5 - Seoul (Incheon), South Korea
Next port was Incheon (Inchon), South Korea. It is about an hour and a half from Seoul, although only 45km. I elected after 2 days of tours to stay local and just visit Incheon.
We started out by visiting the fish market at Yeonan Pier.
As I mentioned before Koreans by there seafood while is still alive. Here are some picture.
King Crab and Calamari
Standard Crab and Shrimp
Octopus alive and dead
One of their favorite delicacies is a seafood aptly named gae peniseu (dog penis). Here the vendor is extracting the water from one of them
And of course if you don't want to do it yourself, they had sashimi available
Then it was off to Wolmi Park a Korean Garden
Here is a typical old Korean house of the Elite. The women and men had separate living quarters. Men had high gate entrances, because they rode horses, while the lower gates were for the women.
Men's and Women's Courtyards
Kitchen and outdoor pantry
Women's wardrobe - remember this picture for later

We then headed to a 100 year old China Town.
Yes, you heard me right, we visited China Town in Korea
Statues depicting the Chinese years
Stairs, Stairs and More Stairs
And after all those stairs this was what was at top! Anti-climatic.
And the views were roof tops not even worth taking a picture
Oldest church in the area
And right next to China Town was Japan Town. Not quite as Glitzy
Our final destination was Singpo International Market. (ho-hum)
Although the street food did smell good, I just wasn't that adventurous
Just is case you get lost and can get your bearing by looking at a tree
Made in Korea - REALLY!
Downtown and residences. The city is very young and urban planning was accomplished
Cool Structures
Back at the terminal I had a little fun! Can you pick me out from the others?
Hint - I have blonde hair, hahahahaha
