January 17 - Ushuaia, Argentina

Made it to the southernmost town in the world, Ushuaia, Argentina, Antarctica. I got up early because I thought I had an excursion. Only to find out it was actually tomorrow. So, I decided to get a massage, and it was glorious.

Then given Ushuaia is a very small town with only approximately 82,000 residents, I decided to walk around and explore.

This town is very welcoming and a little quirky

They even gave me a certificate just "Because"

It has some nice architecture

The homes look inviting, however the roads are steep. Luckily they are all one way.

They had some history - Here is the monument to the Ancient Peoples and Pioneers of Ushuaia.

Chocolate is a big thing here and yes they even had a Hark Rock CafĂ© (ugh!)

I ended up running into all sorts of folks from the Ship and joined them in sampling the local beer

And I ended up, of all places, the Dublin. The southernmost Irish bar at the end of the world.

And who was here?? The crew, Sheenagh, Carlos, Derek, ?, ? Kat and Philip

Since this was an overnight, I had to get a night picture. OK, I stole it from a friend, because you know me I wasn't up when the moon came up
