August 29 - St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada

St. John's, Newfoundland is our first stop, of two, in Canada. And it was an overcast, sprinkly and cold day. That didn't stop us from wandering around town.

And the first thing we see is a Newfoundland Dog

They really like their Newfoundlands and Labradors here

We passed the City Hall/Supreme Court on our way to

St. John the Baptist Church

And another Church

The locals were extremely friendly and the town had some vibrant architecture

with unique artwork.

I'm not sure who Fred is, however he was memorialized

We went to the National War Memorial

It was really surreal seeing the Ship this close to town

and then it was time for drinks. So many places to choose from.

I wonder if Canadian words mean the same thing as ours.

These Lanes don't appear to go anywhere

and as we sailed away this picture perfect scene came into view
