August 9+ - The Great Beltway Bridge and Sail Away

The Great Beltway Bridge, is a multi-element fixed link crossing the Great Belt strait between Danish Island of Zealand and Funen. It is a combined railway and motorway, cable-stayed bridge. It is also the demarcation between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. it is the second longest bridge in Denmark (first being the Oresund Bridge) and this evening we went underneath it.

Here some pictures as we sailed away from Kiel.

This place has to be the most popular place in the world for Kite Surfing. I'm not sure if you can see (yes one picture was taken through a dirty window), but there has to be at least 30 kite surfers.
