August 9 - Kiel, Germany

Yes, we are back in Germany, Kiel to be exact. The weather was a tad bit damp, however we headed out anyway. And I love meeting up with the locals

We meandered around town

It might be called a medieval town, because it has cobblestone streets.

We found the main plaza

and the Olympic eternal flame from the 1972 Olympics

we saw Monuments

Oh and my favorite, a Rathskeller, which we had one at my college

And their were fun places around town - however I missed the red light district

Must be the last Woolworth in existence

 Another St Nicolai Church
