August 8 - Ronne, Denmark

Yes we are back in Denmark. I really feel like we have been ping ponging our way through the Baltics and Nordics. Today it is Ronne (Bornholm). And I guess I wasn't paying attention (too many ports!), Bornholm is a South-East island off the coast of mainland Denmark.
We again, didn't have an excursion so we walked around town. The first thing we came across was St Nicolai Church. He must have really gotten around, because this is about the tenth church I've seen, devoted to him. And you've got to love the Danes, who else would put a Schooner in their church.

It is a small town, however it appears there is a church on every corner

This town is also a Medieval town because of the cobblestone streets.

This is their Mail-Person, on a bike. Yes, there were bikes everywhere and no one locked them up. I guess when you're on an island, no one has to worry about theft.

I didn't realize brick maintenance was a thing, they acid wash their bricks

There was a museum of the town and it had a rock garden and a bunker

In the center of town was a food fair. With REAL bore's head meats, chocolates, pasties and other delectables. I got some cashews.

We had the bratwurst and of course, beer.

Every harbor town has a lighthouse, sailboats and waterfront cottages(?)

Which mode of transportation would you prefer?
