August 6 - Visby, Sweden

New port, new day. This time we are in Visby, Sweden. And while we've been to a great deal of walled towns, this is the first one that has identified as a Medieval Town. There were lots of ruins, not by bombs, but rather from age and deterioration

There was an annual Medieval Festival going on while we were there. Having gone to so many Renaissance Fairs in California, we decided not to attend.

They definitely have some quaint architecture.
