August 5 - Fake Day at Sea

Today was our second day in Stockholm and I decided I was going to act like it was a Day at Sea. And maybe I went a little beyond that, and did literally nothing noteworthy today. A girl deserves one of these days, every now and then.

OK, I got up, requested no service so I could relearn how to make my own bed, clean and straightened my own room (got to ease into life away from the ship, before it's back home to reality). I took a shower and ate what was ever in the room or fridge. Worked on my computer; paid bills, wrote emails and updated my blog. Then I watched a little TV and read a little.

Finally I decide, enough was enough and I took some pictures of the "Wall of Honor" or "Inaugural Wall." These are 'some' of the plaques, that have been given to Serenade Of The Seas, from ports and local authorities where the ship ported for the first time.

It was then time for cocktails and dinner, so I could hear everyone else's exploits. I didn't go to the show, but rather headed back to my room.

Here are some sail-away pictures
