August 11 - Aarhus, Denmark

We are still in Denmark, however Aarhus is our last port here. After this it is on to Norway. The first thing I noticed was there were Elephant sculptures everywhere. So I looked it up and from June 20th to August 22nd they put out 30 colorful elephant on a free and family-friendly trail. In September they collect all the sculptures and auction them off to raise funds for Psykiartrifonden (mental health)

This is a view of the city from our ship

And I went to the rooftop of Salling (local department store) and the views were phenomenal. The air is so clean, and smells so good.

Sights around town included;
Churches

Aarhus River

Monuments

Fancy Government Buildings

Pedestrian walkway through town

Then it was time to take a break with the Locals

And to kick back with a beer - what other than a Carlsberg

Cool Structures

Other fun sights around town
