July 26 - Stonehenge (Southampton), United Kingdom

Scratch Stonehenge off my bucket list. We ported in Southampton, United Kingdom and I took the excursion to Stonehenge. They still don't know why it was built or what it was used for. The most probable guess is a temple to the Sun god.

Here it is, as I walked all the way around it

Then we were off to Salisbury, to see the Salisbury Cathedral and other sights

And had Lunch at a haunted Pub, Haunch of Venison

Then it was through New Forest and some small Townships before heading back to the Ship

Cool Structures

  1. Did you reserve Stonehenge? No other people in the photos. How cool!
