July 25 - Le Havre, France

Le Havre, France is an interesting town. Not really considered much of a tourist destination, more of a starting out point for Paris, Normandy, or Le Mont Saint Michel. Having gone to Normandy, yesterday, and not overly excited to go on three, back to back, 10 hour, excursions (Normandy, Mt St Michele and then Brussels tomorrow), I decided just to walk around. And I was glad I did! This is a town of Cool Structures

A Pedestrian Bridge

And windmill blades as far as the eye could see.

A Pizza Vending Machine - the pizza was good! And what is pizza without beer?

The town had one Minimalist Catholic Church, Saint Joseph's

And a monument, commemorating those lost in the wars from 1939 - 1945
