July 21 - Cobh (Cork), Spain

Ireland, One of may favorite countries and here I am back in Cobh. Most folks headed to Cork, however I've been there. And besides we have the Jameson Distillery, Crown and Anchor Society Escape today, and my tour is at 3:00.
First we did the standard sites;  The Titanic Memorials and Museum

Local Flavor

The Cunard (White Star) Office

And the local Church

And then it was time for drinks at Kelly's. I was here is 2017. See the similarities
Then & Now, not much has changed (hair is a little longer)

The first drink was always Guinness, then we moved on to Murphy's

It was now time to head to the Midleton Distillery, home of Jameson

We were given a welcome drink of Jameson and ginger ale - very tasty

We got to try some Jameson (5-7yr old) and some yummy Redbreast (12yr old)

And then we were given 2 free drink tickets, I changed to wine. There was live music, river dancing and appetizers.

And for some reason, they kept giving us more and more free drink tickets. Wheeeee

When we got back it was only 6:30, so we headed into town to see how the Hurling Championship went. Bummer, Cork lost, but you would never know it.
