July 19 - Vigo, Spain

We are back in Spain, Vigo to be exact. Lety had an excursion so Eileen, Randy and I did a walk about.
This is what we first saw. How Odd!?!

It was kind of quiet as we walked around, not much hustle and bustle.

Downtown

We found a fish/produce/meat market. How great to get everything fresh daily.

Gordan the Fisherman Monument

Fun Murals

Residences

Cool Structures

And then it was time for a beer, wine and some tapas

And as we headed back it appeared the town had woken up

There was a local casino, so we went in and tried our luck. I won $30.

And here is my new "Guy" and his family

  1. That art in the first two photos speaks volumes to me. It represents; after two days of working on a failed irrigation pump and the brittle associated plumbing, you find yourself face down in the dirt, once again, your back and your arms completely worn out, and a support sturdy enough to help you get up is just out of reach (and not the absolute sturdiest thing, considering the legs). So, You just lie there thinking, "I'll just watch the ants go by for a while."

BTW... Do you wanna know what I did this weekend?
