July 18 - Porto, Portugal

I'm going to apologize in advance. You'll figure out why later.
We are here in Porto, Portugal and we went on a city and river cruise. I primarily wanted to go under the Luis I bridge. Well we ended up going under 5 bridges. Way more about that later

We did a little panoramic tour of Porto and then we did a little walk about

Churches and Government Buildings

Monuments

Downtown

Residences

Fun Things seen around town

Cool Structures

 Inclinator up to the Fort

Fishing Nets Artwork, depicting abundance of food for all

And then the best part of the tour - Bridges!!!!

We headed off on a gondola on steroids

And were given some local Portugal pastries. The Belem pastries were better

First Bridge is the Dom Luis I

Maria-Pia looks just like the Dom Luis I

Infante Don Henrique

St John/Sao Joao

Arrabida

We finish our tour at a Port Wine Winery.

We realized we didn't like Port so we went outside and ordered wine we liked, while the wine tasting finished up

Right next door was the oldest Port Wine House

And of course we walked on the Luis I bridge. Here are the pictures from our walk

Oh come on ladies - If you had seen this you would have taken a picture too

  1. The bridges are cool, but I really like the boats! We need one for the YC.
