June 12 - Real Club Nautico De Tenerife

We stayed overnight in Santa Cruz, so today I went in search of the local Yacht Club and boy did I find it! I've never seen a Yacht Club like this.

Real Club Nautico De Tenerife was founded in 1902, and it has;
 A Social building with a Party Room,
Cafeteria and Dining Room,
Multiple Game Rooms & TV Rooms- A Library & Study Rooms,
meeting rooms.
3 Swimming Pools (2 Olympic sized),
Terraces for children and a Playground.
A Bar with self-service service in the summer season.
A Complete two story Gym - one with a view of the harbor,
4 Tennis, 2 Racquetball & 2 Squash Courts, an a Covered Sports Hall for Basketball, etc.
For nautical sports, it has a dock, ramps and esplanade for dinghy sailing,
and cranes for beaching and launching services. They can accommodate 75 boats in covered storage and beach the same number.

Activities include: nautical and fishing, swimming and water polo, basketball and indoor soccer, tennis, racquetball, racquetball, table tennis and squash, gymnastics, yoga, dance, aerobics, painting and other arts.

All of the above and beers were only $1.75 each.

They gave me a member band and invited me back anytime. There were no shirts for sale - Bummer
