June 27 - Day 200

Today is day 200 of 274. Only 74 days to go. The time feels like it has gone by so quickly.  So how do we celebrate????  With a Cake - of course. Today was also the Top Tier event. While there were 1300 Crown and Anchor Society members, there are actually an additional 600 folks on board that are brand new to cruising. Therefore, we pinnacles make up on 4% of the population. June 26 - Kotor, Montenegro

Kotor, Montenegro is way, way back in what appears to be a fjord. It's not really a fjord, but rather a unique harbor carved by a river.   Pictures of our morning arrival. Yes, I was up at 6:00am to experience this.  Coming into town, you can see why they named the area Montenegro - Black Mountain Our Lake of the Rock Church (Man-made island) and St. George's (natural island) We tendered into Kotor and then it was off on a Montenegro highlights tour. First we headed up the Lovcen mountains on a windy and curvy road with 25 switchbacks. And got some incredible distant view of Kotor.  Where we ended up in the Village of Njegusi,  and went to the restaurant, Zora. Where they made their own local sandwich of smoked Procett (local for prosciutto), cheese and handmade bread, with a glass of the local wine.  They smoke their own Procett in small smoke houses using only birch work We were entertained as we ate and drank.   Then it was back down the hill past the "Old Road", a
