March 30 - Taipei (Keelung) Taiwan, China

After enjoying our time at Taipei 101, I headed out on an excursion to see the rest of Taipei.

We started with lunch & beer at the Grand Hotel.

Lobby, Ceiling and Stairwell Art

Golden Dragon in the courtyard

We visited the National Palace Museum. It was amazing. Sorry for the amount of Pics. The museum has 70,000 pieces, but can only display 4000 at a time.

The Jade Cabbage.
It has a flower blossom and a cricket carved into it.
These pictures don't do it justice, but at least I got some pics. It was sooo crowded

It had been a long day, including Taipei 101, and our bus elected to back directly to the Ship and not to go to the local art market. This way we could watch the Taiwan Folkloric.
