March 22 - Sea Day - There's Just Too Much Going On

As I woke up this morning, we were passing the Equator, going north, so King Neptune did not visit.
He only checks up on us as we head south. And as predicted we hit the doldrums.

They had a twist on the Cheers with the Officers. Instead of Lunch, we had a cocktail party.
The Hors d'oeuvres (this was only 1/2) were delicious as were the desserts.

The entertainment was the Safety Officer on an Electric Guitar.

Which turned into a Dance Party

Then it was a Sparkle Fashion Show. Something I've never seen on a cruise ship. They had guests, escorted by Officers, showing off some of the exquisite jewelry and watches found in the on-board jewelry store.
Our hosts Mariana & Joff

The Captains wife                           Derek, the Food & Beverage Manager

And then it was Formal Night - since so many of us were already dressed up for the Sparkle Fashion Show.
Sue's and my Bodyguard, Dion.

Pardeed, our bartender                    Mario the Beverage Manager

At dinner, it was time to recognize the Restaurant Staff. The Chef loves to Dance.

Whew! I made it to bed at a reasonable hours. Others headed to the show, Pub or Casino. I can assure you they'll miss progressive trivia tomorrow.
