March 31 - Ishigaki, Japan

First, Happy Easter, everyone. And as always they baked us a cake and decorated the Windjammer (buffet) And I made a Pop-Up card We got into port an hour late, because the pilot had to fly in from Okinawa. Then it was another hour going through immigration. I didn't have an excursion, so a bunch of us decided to grab a cab and explore the island. Well, when we finally got off the ship there were no more cabs, and the wait was approximately an hour.. Grrrrrrr. And it was starting to rain. I elected to get back on the ship, mainly because I'm not much of a beach person and the gang were primarily going to a beach and drink. I can do that on the ship, by the pool, without any crowds. Here are the pictures I captured from the ship.  It certainly looks like a diver's paradise. This is a sunrise picture, my friend took. Now you know why the Japanese flag has a red sun on it.
