February 19 - Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii

Today we are in Honolulu on Oahu. We are overnighting in this port so folks can go out to Luaus.

Dee Dee and I have been to this island, so we decided to do a little retail therapy. For those of you that were disappointed I didn't show a picture of the Walmart, I walked to in Cabo San Lucas, here is a picture of the Ala Moana Mall, where we shopped. I try not to make the same mistake twice.

And pics of some of my purchases.

Then it was off to the Honolulu Elks Lodge #616 for lunch.

Views from our seats

And it was literally right across from Diamond Head

We then headed back to the Ship via Waikiki Beach. And saw sights along the way.

A couple of locals

There were statues of Duke Kahanamoku, Hawaii surfer and Olympic swimmer.

And of Prince Jonah Kuhio, the last Hawaiian Prince, who introduced a bill for Hawaii's statehood.

Waikiki is way to crowded for me

Back on the ship we were entertained with more Folkloric local talent
