January 8 - New Itinerary

Today is another day at sea.

Each mini cruise, we have lunch with the Officers. And today was that day. There was nothing new to report, except my friends Cindy and Jim Seletos became Diamond ++, which means they have at least 340 cruise days, so they were invited to this lunch. Here was the menu.

Today I had the Wild Mushroom soup, Broiled Atlantic Salmon and Chocolate Ice cream. No dinner for me!

Joff, the Cruise Director

Progressive trivia was a bust! We are now aiming for the ‘most consistent’ award and we are only 1 day in.

We are on our way to Puerto Madryn, Argentina and the Captain came on the intercom and said we were changing our itinerary. He said we were doing the Antarctica in reverse order because the weather in the Drake Passage is just tooooo volatile. For those of you keeping track here is our new Itinerary.

More to come in Puerto Madryn
