January 3 - Progressive Trivia

Today was our last day of Progressive Trivia or as Sheenagh, the activities manager, says ‘Aggressive’ Progressive Trivia.

It is held every sea day. And we had 14 sea days this mini cruise, however the first day was a meet and greet and to set up teams. Here is our team; David and Gigi Payne, Carolyn Nowinski, me, Michael from Winnipeg and John Nowinski.

When we first sat down David and Gigi were not part of our team, so given there were originally only four of us we came up with Winnski Beach. Because Michael was from Winnipeg, we use part of Carolyn and John’s last name and I am from Melbourne beach. 

Each day we have 15 questions and the score is culminative. There were fun categories such as;

Is this quote from Shakespeare or Taylor Swift? 

What Brand is this?

Nauti question of the day, about the ship or nautical things.

And how to do you spell Irish names? Such as, Muriel is spelled Muirgheal - seriously folks! And I actually thought I was 1/2 Irish

We Loved Sheenagh! She brought us Mimosas!

She collected up the pens and papers using someone's scooter.  

       

Over all it was lots of fun, and a serious commitment! This is our standings after 10 days. We ended up in the same position – fourth over all! Not bad for a bunch of rookies.
