December 12 - Finally Unpacked

Not all days are perfect days. Rainy and overcast. At least I don't have to be outside for any reason. Good excuse to stay inside and unpack.

It ALL fits, so I guess I didn't bring too much.😁

April 7 - Forbidden City, Beijing, China

After 40 years, I finally made it to China! And I'm going to walk on the Great Wall. Wohoo! But first we are going to The Forbidden City. We ported in Tianjin, and were greeted with a heartfelt welcome from the Chinese government.  They provided entertainment, including the revered Dragon Dance (the dancers in blue), which I caught on video.  And to no surprise and they caught everything on CCTV.  As I was watching the entertainment, the drone was literally in my face. And later when I headed out on the excursion, the film crew followed me. If you see me, please forward me the link.  It was quite smoggy in Tianjin, so my pictures may be a little blurry. We found out later that the Chinese government moved all smog producing factories out of Beijing and into Tianjin, to clean up the air for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. March 28 - Hong Kong at Night

Since we were in Hong Kong overnight I took the opportunity to go to the 'Symphony of Lights' show which was displayed across Victoria Harbor Then I headed back up to Victoria Peak to see what I missed This is what was in the fog you saw earlier Here are some pics from around town, view from Victoria Harbor, the Clock Tower and some interesting structures

May 28 - New Mini-Cruise #10

This mini-Cruise is called the African Intensive. It is 11 nights and we have 7 sea days. It is from Cape Town South Africa to June 7th, which is actually a day at sea. I can't wait to see how they are going to process us to the next mini-cruise. Obviously we won't be losing or getting any guests....at sea. It is one of three mini-cruises in Segment #3, which has been relabeled as the Africa and Southern Europe Cruise We started a new round of Progressive Trivia and we actually have a chance to win, only because the "professional" have decided to take an independent journey. I'll take the win anyway I can get it. We have the same team, however we changed our name. We are now call the Trebek Rejects. Cool, huh? It was also time to say good-bye to one of my table mates.
